2000 Atlantic Employers' Conference

Following the success of the 1999 conference, CPMS was invited again to host the 2000 conference. This year, employers heard from the Honourable Norm McFarlane, Minister of Labour, New Brunswick; the Honourable Angus MacIsaac, Minister of Labour, Nova Scotia; Ms. Karen Taylor, Associate Director, New Brunswick Human Rights Commission; Ms. Mayann Francis, Executive Director, Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, and Mr. John MacPherson, QC, Partner PPHM.

Each speaker brought a plethora of valuable information with regards to legislative changes, labour relations updates, human rights and insight into the economic forecast for Atlantic Canada. It was through these candid discussions that allowed employers to develop their strategic plans for their organizations.
